Papu Design is known for its unique, high-quality, hand-made prints. Many of our prints are inspired by Finnish nature. In all our print choices, we aim for recognisability and favour Finnish design. Every collection has at least one main print, which may come in several colourways.

The main print of our autumn/winter 2025 collection is Berrycloud, designed by Hungarian-born, Finland-based graphic designer and illustrator Réka Király.

BERRYCLOUD

The Berrycloud print was inspired by evenings spent with friends. The laughter, conversations and life stories shared around a long table gave the print its warm and abundant atmosphere. Its base is the deep purple of plum, brightened by specks of light like candles – they bring a festive touch to everyday life and highlight the warmth of shared joy and friendship.

Réka Király

Réka Király is a visual storyteller who lives and works in Helsinki. She is drawn to modularity and original colour combinations inspired by the northern light. She combines hand-drawn elements with playful care, embracing imperfections as part of the finished work. Her way of working is meditative, capturing the fragility of a fleeting moment. She loves the sea and fog, and gets excited about unique colours and plants and about time spent with the people close to her.
