SIZE GUIDE

Not sure between two sizes?

We hope our size guide helps you choose the right size and that with these tips you'll find perfectly fitting clothes in our online store. Choosing the right size is especially important when shopping online, so you can avoid unnecessary exchanges and returns. To make your choice easier when ordering a new product, we've gathered useful tips and instructions on this page for finding your perfect size.

Check the product-specific

Measurement drawings

The Papu online store has measurement drawings for all products, where you can check the measurements of each product. The easiest way to compare sizes is to compare the measurements in the drawing to a similar garment from your own wardrobe.

Try to choose a garment from your wardrobe that is as similar as possible to the one whose size you're checking.

In every size chart you'll find the measurements for each size for the different parts of the product, marked with letters in the images. Please note: the size charts are indicative, and the actual products may differ by 1–2 cm from the given measurements.

When choosing your size, consider

THE GARMENT'S MATERIAL

Our products containing elastane are stretchy. If you're unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size for a snugger, more fitted result.

Products made from 100% cotton, Ecovero or lyocell, on the other hand, do not stretch. This is important to consider when choosing your size, as these materials don't stretch with wear. For non-stretch garments, pay particular attention to the measurement drawings and choose a size that gives you enough room to move.

So always remember to check the product's material and think about how you want the garment to fit – snug or relaxed – so you can find the best possible size and fit for you!

Allow for possible

shrinkage

When choosing the right size, it's important to allow for possible shrinkage, as certain materials may shrink in the first wash. Products made from cotton, cotton-elastane blends, linen, lyocell and Ecovero may shrink by about 5% during the first wash.

Allowing for shrinkage is especially worthwhile for close-fitting and non-stretch garments, so that they don't become too small or uncomfortable after washing.

Remember to follow the washing instructions and, whenever possible, wash the garment gently to keep shrinkage to a minimum.
