With virtual try-on you can see how a Papu garment looks on you before you order it. Upload a photo of yourself and our AI dresses you in the garment you have chosen in about 15 seconds.

How to try on

1. Log in to your customer account. Virtual try-on is only available to logged-in customers.
2. Open a product page and select Try it on with your photo. The link is below the size selection on dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts, knitwear, jackets and leggings.
3. Choose a photo from your phone or computer. The photo is resized on your device and extra information, such as location data, is removed.
4. Accept the processing of your photo by ticking the box and select Create try-on image. You can follow the progress of the upload and the image creation as a percentage.
5. See the result. Your photo is saved to your profile, so next time you can select Use my saved photo without uploading it again.

For the best result

• Your whole body is visible from the front and you are standing straight.
• You are wearing fitted clothes or leggings.
• The background is plain and light, and the lighting is good.
• Your hair is visible.
• There is no hat, scarf or bag in the photo.
• When trying on dresses and skirts, a photo without trousers works best.

Try-ons and prices

• 3 free try-ons for newsletter subscribers. You can subscribe to the newsletter directly in the try-on window. Free try-ons are given once per customer.
• More try-ons are available by purchasing a try-on package. Log in before purchasing so that the try-ons are added to your account.
• Get the price of the package back. You receive the amount you paid as a credit code that you can use on Papu clothing and accessories for 6 months. The code is shown on the My try-ons page. The credit cannot be used for new try-on packages.
• Failed try-ons are not charged. Trying on the same product with the same photo is not charged again.
• You can make up to 30 try-ons per day.

My try-ons

You can find the My try-ons page in your customer account menu. There you can see

• the number of try-ons you have left
• your saved try-on photo, which you can change or delete
• all the products you have tried on with their try-on images and links to the products.

Storing and deleting photos

• The try-on photo saved to your profile is kept until you delete or change it.
• Try-on images created by the AI are deleted automatically after 60 days.
• You can delete a single try-on image or all your photos at any time on the My try-ons page. Your remaining try-ons are kept even if you delete your photos.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see the Try it on with your photo link?
The link is shown on garments that can be tried on. Unfortunately, not all garments can be tried on. Accessories, such as beanies and bags, cannot be tried on.

How accurate is the try-on image?
The try-on image is an AI illustration and AI can make mistakes. Colours, print and especially the length of the garment may differ from the actual product. Always check the size in the size chart or use the size recommendation based on your measurements.

The try-on didn't work. What should I do?
Try another photo that shows your whole body from the front. Failed try-ons are not charged. If the service is busy, please try again shortly.

Who can see my photos?
Your photos are only visible to you when you are logged in. They are not used for marketing or for training AI models.
